Football Player Welsh Athlete Ramsey Ups Incentive for Lost Pet in Mexico to $$20k
Welsh soccer player Aaron Ramsey has boosted the incentive for information concerning the missing pet named Halo to $$20k.
Ex- Arsenal and Cardiff City player, who currently plays for the Mexican club Pumas in Mexico City, mentioned that the beagle was observed in a Mexican town, located in the Guanajuato state zone.
the dog, who went missing on 9 October, was equipped with a dog tracker collar, and the footballer published a Google maps location of the spot she vanished from.
"Any sort of information regarding our beloved Halo please contact us. Substantial reward for finding her. We are all praying she is safe and can be back to our family soon," the athlete shared on social media.
Initial Offer and Emotional Appeals
Ramsey initially revealed that his dog had gone missing 14 days prior and has subsequently shared several pictures of the adored dog on his social media account.
A $10,000 incentive was initially announced, but with lack of updates on the dog's location after a week, Ramsey and his family doubled the amount.
"We just want our pet back," he stated in another request on his online platforms after the decade-old pet went missing.
The latest picture post is a monochrome image of Halo napping, her head resting in the curve of the athlete's arm, with the description: "What I wouldn't give to embrace you again sweet Halo."
Family's Concerns and Context
The footballer has also posted a message from his wife Mrs. Ramsey on social media indicating they have some "pressing concerns" surrounding the incident and worry the household "may never receive explanations".
"We have yet to are still searching for our dog. I don't think we will ever," the spouse's message expressed.
